KBOR > Kansas Digital Learning
The Kansas
Digital Learning Advisory Council for Higher Education (KANDL) is an initiative
of the Kansas Board of Regents. KANDL was created out of a need for a
more coordinated effort regarding digital learning initiatives in Kansas.
KANDL is a professional association representing individual and institutional
information technology and digital learning practitioners in postsecondary
education.
The Advisory Council will make recommendations in the development, implementation,
and administration of statewide digital learning to Academic Affairs and
Kan-Ed units of the Kansas Board of Regents.
Colleague-to-Colleague (C2C) is the staff development and conference work
group of KANDL. C2C has a mission to support, organize, facilitate, and
publicize staff development opportunities, events, information, and initiatives
to faculty, staff, and administrators engaged in digital learning in postsecondary
education in Kansas.
KANDL is responsible for sponsoring and maintaining the Regents On-Line
Catalog (ROC). The ROC is the one stop to find out which classes are offered
online by Kansas institutions searching either by school or subject.
Dr. Robert Masters, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated, "KANDL
membership includes representatives from Kansas' universities, community
colleges, technical institutions, and Kan-Ed. The KANDL Chair and Vice
Chair will serve KANDL and C2C simultaneously.
