Director of Adult Education -- State Director for Adult Education
Dianne Glass, M.S.

Dianne Glass received the Master of Science degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University in 1991. Dianne has been involved in adult education since 1973 when she taught her first Adult Basic Education (ABE) class. Since then she has been an instructor, master teacher, and coordinator in ABE/GED/ESL programs in Alabama, Georgia, Hawaii, and Germany. In 1992 Dianne joined the Kansas Department of Education as an Education Program Consultant working with adult education programs.

She also serves on the national policy council for the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS), on the United States Department of Education’s National Reporting System Advisory Committee, on the United States Department of Education’s National Programs Committee, and the National Institute for Literacy’s (NIFL) Adult Education Program Management Policies Advisory Committee.
