Vice President for Academic Affairs
Robert Masters, Ph.D.

Dr. Robert Masters has an earned doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Purdue University. He was employed as a Business Administrator at both Indiana University and Purdue University. While at the University of Southern Colorado, he served as Director, Center for Executive Development and taught business management for the School of Business. He also served as Interim Dean of the School of Business.

For fifteen years, Robert served as Chair, Department of Business Administration, and Director, MBA Program, in the School of Business at Fort Hays State University. He also served as a Professor of Business and taught undergraduate and graduate business management courses.

In 1995, Robert was employed by Southeastern Oklahoma State University as Dean, School of Business where he led the School of Business to ACBSP accreditation. Soon after, he moved back to Kansas and was employed by Neosho County Community College as Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. He also served as Interim President.

Dr. Masters has published scores of articles in professional journals. He served as a SCORE counselor for the U.S. Small Business Administration for twenty years and received an appointment from Congressman Pat Roberts to serve on his Service Academy Screening Board. He served on the Board of Directors for the International Academy of Business Disciplines and is a graduate of the Oklahoma Educators’ Leadership Academy.

Robert began employment at KBOR in December 2002.
