Director
of Academic Initiatives Dr. Kathyrne Mueller completed her doctoral work at the University of Arizona with a major in experimental psychology and a minor in cell biology. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of California - San Diego Department of Pediatrics and the Marshall University Department of Pharmacology. Kathyrne spent eleven years as a faculty member in the Texas Christian University Department of Psychology. With a research area in psychopharmacology, she was Principal Investigator on extramural research grants from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and the National Institute of Drug Abuse. Kathyrne has a strong publication record in professional journals. Kathyrne was a member of the Board of Directors of the Southwestern and Rocky Mountain Division of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Missouri Academic Advising Association. Kathyrne also served as the President of the TCU Chapter of Sigma Xi. Kathyrne left TCU to accept an administrative position in Academic Affairs at Missouri Western State College, where she was employed for eight years. Kathyrne also served as Interim Registrar at MWSC. Kathyrne began employment at KBOR in August 2002. |
