FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BOARD OF REGENTS ANNOUNCE 2011 FALL SEMESTER ENROLLMENTPublic College & University Enrollment Up(TOPEKA) – Enrollment figures released today by the Kansas Board of Regents show an increase of 856 students at the state’s 32 public universities, community colleges, and technical colleges. This represents a 0.5% systemwide increase for the 2011 fall academic semester over the 2010 fall academic semester. The systemwide enrollment of 188,447 is reported as of the 20th day of classes. At the seven public universities, enrollment was up by 701 students, or 0.7%. At the 19 community colleges, enrollment was down by 189 students, or -0.2%. At the six technical colleges, enrollment was up by 344 students, or 7.0%.
