KANSAS BOARD OF REGENTS The Board of Regents invites nominations and applications for the position of Project Specialist in the Data, Research and Planning unit. The successful candidate will work on the Data Collections team in the Data, Research and Planning (DRP) unit and will support data defining, gathering, validating, application development and reporting systems. The DRP unit is responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of a data and reporting system for postsecondary institutions in the State. This system is used to provide decision-making support to the Board's policy development, system coordination, and quality assurance roles. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in information systems technology or related analytical field. Candidates should possess strong data modeling and reporting skills or experience. Salary range is $45,000 – $50,000 and will be commensurate with qualifications, and experience. The Director of Technical Programs and Curriculum reports to the Vice President for Workforce Development and provides collaborative leadership for driving standards of excellence, program alignment, academic policies, procedures, projects, and proposals relative to serving the technical and community colleges in the area of technical education opportunities and programming. Minimum qualifications include: a Masters degree or higher from an accredited institution, required; three years full-time administrative experience or a combination of five years full-time faculty and administrative experience in a postsecondary institution preferred; strong analytic, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to prioritize, take initiative, focus, and follow through to completion; understanding of technical education and workforce development; understanding and appreciation of all sectors and institutions within KBOR system. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
