KENNY WILK, CHAIR

Kenny Wilk was appointed to the Kansas Board of Regents by Governor Sam Brownback in 2011, and currently serves as the Board Chair. 

Prior to his service on the board, Wilk served for sixteen years as a State Representative for the 42nd District. He is a Kansas Health Foundation Fellow and a past board member for KTEC, Kansas Inc., and the Kansas Historical Society. He currently serves as a Director with First State Bank & Trust in Tonganoxie, KS and with the Kansas Bioscience Authority. He is employed as a consultant providing clients outreach initiatives, strategic planning and implementation guidance.

He and his wife, Darlene, have one son and live in Basehor.
