Final Business & Industry Recommendation
The State Business and Industry Committee for Medical Transcription recommended the following regarding Medical Transcriptionists:
1. Completion of a Medical Transcription educational program.
2. Eligible to sit for the Registered Medical Transcriptionist (RMT) credential.
3. Obtainment of the Kansas WORKReady! Certificate Silver Level is encouraged.
