 ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR ADULT EDUCATION

The Kansas Board of Regents invites applicants to fill the position of Associate Director for Adult Education.  The nine-member Kansas Board of Regents is the governing board of the state’s six universities and the statewide coordinating board for the state’s 32 public higher education institutions (six state universities, one municipal university, nineteen community colleges, and six technical colleges).

The Associate Director for Adult Education serves as the project manager for the Accelerating Opportunity – Kansas at Work (AO-K @ Work) grant initiative and is an eighteen-month grant funded position.  The Associate Director leads the implementation of statewide activities related to the AO-K @ Work initiative and will coordinate/communicate with institutions and partnering agencies to implement and scale the multiple strategies supporting AO-K @ Work.

Candidates must have strong analytic, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with an acute understanding of adult education and workforce development, and an ability to work with multiple agencies and constituents.  A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

Salary range is $55,000 to $61,500 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Kansas Board of Regents invites applicants to fill the position of Project Coordinator.  The nine-member Kansas Board of Regents is the governing board of the state’s six universities and the statewide coordinating board for the state’s 32 public higher education institutions (six state universities, one municipal university, nineteen community colleges, and six technical colleges).

The Project Coordinator provides support for the Accelerating Opportunity - Kansas @ Work (AO-K @ Work) program, data reporting and coordination for participants, and coordination of all activities for the grant.  This position is an eighteen-month grant funded position.

Candidates must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with the ability to work with multiple agencies and constituents.  A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Salary range is $35,000 to $40,000 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

STUDENT FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST 

The Kansas Board of Regents invites applicants to fill the position of Student Financial Aid Specialist.  The nine-member Kansas Board of Regents is the governing board of the state’s six universities and the statewide coordinating board for the state’s 32 public higher education institutions (six state universities, one municipal university, nineteen community colleges, and six technical colleges).

The Student Financial Aid (SFA) Application Support Analyst maintains several state-sponsored financial aid programs for students.  This position provides technical support for the SFA scholarships and web applications hosted by the Kansas Board of Regents, analyzing data and programming changes for the application processes.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED certificate, experience using SQL to use and manage relational databases, desire to learn and develop programming skills, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team structure as well as individually. 

Salary range is $55,000 to $60,000 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
