KANSAS STATE PLAN FOR CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

The Kansas Board of Regents and Kansas State Department of Education staff are implementing the new Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V). The State Team appreciates all stakeholder input throughout the Plan development process.

PROPOSED REVISIONS TO STATE DETERMINED PERFORMANCE LEVELS

The unanticipated circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic provide states the opportunity to revise the state determined performance levels as originally set forth in the Kansas State Plan for Career Technical Education.  (Pursuant to section 113(b)(3)(A)(iii) of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006, as amended by the Strengthening Career and Technical Education of the 21st Century Act, Public Law 115-224)       

Informational documents and a survey to submit written comments through April 24, 2021 are posted at www.kansasregents.org/CTE  All comments will receive a written response in the State plan.
